Hydraulic motor is the hydraulic system element that converts the hydraulic energy produced by the hydraulic pump into circular motion. From this perspective, the hydraulic motor works on a principle opposite to the hydraulic pump. Hydraulic motors take the hydraulic energy produced by the hydraulic pump and convert it back into mechanical energy, but while doing this, they add a circularity feature to the movement. Hydraulic motors try to compress the hydraulic oil by applying pressure, but the hydraulic oil does not compress and begins to move in the opposite direction of the power. It looks for a way of escape, and hydraulic motors models are created using this feature. Hydraulic motors have 3 different types: Piston hydraulic motors, gear hydraulic motors and vane hydraulic motors.
